Calling all ‘green home’ owners…..
With autumn on its way, and energy bills skyrocketing, more and more people are thinking about how to make their homes more energy efficient, but lack the confidence to take the first step.
Herefordshire Green Doors 2022 is running across the County in October and we’re looking for homes that are willing to throw open their doors to share their Passivhaus, retrofit or energy installation to inspire others considering doing the same. Maybe you’ve taken a fabric first approach, draught-proofing and insulating to save energy, or added in some green tech like solar panels and heat pumps to reduce your home carbon footprint. We want to include them all — across the whole County!
If you’ve got a green home you’d like to open for an hour, day or weekend in October, or know someone else that would — please get in touch. Or if you’re a community Group that wants to put on a local Green Doors event, let us know and we can support you.
