On Saturday August 26th HWT City Branch will be at the annual Hereford River Carnival down on the Bishop’s Meadow side alongside a host of other environmentally focussed groups and near to the ever-popular WILDPLAY with its fun, nature activities for the whole family.
Come and find us under the trees along with our city tree warden colleagues between 11 and 5pm, ready to answer any questions you might have from ‘how to better protect nature in your patch of town’ to ‘how to plant more trees’!
On Sunday 27th August Nic Howes, local City Brook geographer, restoration volunteer and citizen scientist, will be leading a guided walk along Widemarsh Brook. The meeting place for the walk will be on Moor Walk near the Boxing Club and will commence promptly at 3pm lasting one hour. For more details see Nic’s Twitter (X) post
