A Message from the Co-chairs of HGN

We couldn’t issue this edition of the newsletter without expressing our sadness at the news of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth. The celebration of her Platinum Jubilee earlier this year was marked with the Queen’s Green Canopy and trees were planted across Herefordshire inspired by that campaign. Our thoughts are also, of course, with her family and we must all acknowledge the contribution of the Prince of Wales, now King Charles III, to regenerative farming and conservation and making care for the environment and climate change key issues on his agenda. As King he may not be able to say all that wishes in the way that he wishes, but we hope that he may continue to use every opportunity to further the natural world and environmental concerns.
