News from HWT Ross-on-Wye Branch

The HWT Ross branch is having its first talk of the season : “A Vision for Dark Skies” in which Yolande Watson, from Herefordshire Dark Skies, explains nature’s and humans’ need for dark skies and what can be done to help. The talk is on 6th October at 7:30pm in the Baptist church hall in Broad Street.
Talks are on every first Friday of the month and November’s is with Jamie Audsley HWT CEO and coincides with the branch AGM.
Also coming up in October the Ross branch is having a members’ social on October 14th from 2 to 5pm in the same venue.
The Ross branch has started a monthly article in September in the Ross Gazette focusing on how we can all create more space and habitats for wildlife in our gardens. The first article was published on 20th September.
