Herefordshire Wildlife Trust Events

In November Herefordshire Wildlife Trust are organising events for all ages:-

Wild Forest Tots

Date: Tuesday 1st & Tuesday 8th November 12:45pm – 2:15pm

Venue: Queenswood Country Park and Arboretum, Dinmore Hill, Leominster, HR6 0PY

Cost: £14 per child for 2 weeks; additional siblings £10 for 2 weeks.

Join us for adventures in the woods! Whatever the weather we look forward to exploring wildlife and nature with you. Weekly nature crafts, woodland games, free play, exploration and adventures. Sessions are tailored to children aged under 5 years, to attend with a parent or carer.


Fascinating Fungi Workshop

Date: Sunday 6 November, 10:15am – 3:00pm

Venue: Queenswood Country Park and Arboretum, Nr Leominster, HR6 0PY

Cost: £20

The Herefordshire Fungus Survey Group will lead a study day with a fungus foray and identification session.


Black Mountains Branch Talk: Hedgehogs

Date: Thursday 10 November 7pm

Venue: Peterchurch Village Hall

Cost: suggested donations £3 / £4

Dylan Thomas gives an interactive talk about why hedgehog numbers have declined so much, and the simple things everyone can do to help reverse that decline to support one of the nation’s most loved mammals, not just to survive but thrive.
