They have also produced a New woodland creation brochure (Click here) – this is to help tell farmers and landowners about the benefits of tree planting and to signpost them to the financial support and advice available.

The Wye and Usk Foundation are able to offer advice and support for any landowners within the Wye Catchment wanting to do woodland creation through the England Woodland Creation Offer (EWCO). The EWCO is a Government funded grant to plant woodland for the purposes of Water Quality, Flood Prevention, Riparian Buffers, Priority Habitat Creation and SSSi Protection from Ammonia.
