The Plight of the Wye

Concern continues over the state of the rivers in Herefordshire. There are several upcoming events about the River Wye:

On Wednesday 29th June at 7.15pm, Archenfield Community Environment Group are holding a talk

‘What’s Wrong with the River Wye’

As part of the weekend, on Saturday 9th July, The Courtyard in Hereford are showing ‘River’- a cinematic and musical odyssey that explores the remarkable relationship between humans and rivers.

There will be a post screening discussion following the film led by members of Save the Wye group.
Save The Wye is a coalition of local community groups committed to protecting this precious river including Friends of the Upper Wye, Friends of the Lugg, Friends of the Lower Wye, Friends of the Dore and CPRE Herefordshire.
