Tabletop Gardening

The Haygrove Community Gardens Charity will be running some free Tabletop Gardening sessions at the Nest, just outside Ledbury, every Thursday from 10:30 to 12:00. For more details, Click here. These sessions are aimed at people with mental health needs, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, dementia, and social isolation living in or around Ledbury.  They aim to improve people’s well-being and spark an interest in growing and nature, as well as generate some interest in therapeutic horticulture in the Ledbury area, and progress the dream of starting a community garden in or close to Ledbury.

The sessions are arranged to tie in with local bus services.  People coming from Ledbury can catch the 476 Hereford bound service at 09:35 which will stop at the Nest as a request stop at about 09:45.  Going home they can catch the bus at around 12:45 which gets to the Market House at 12:53. There is plenty of parking for those coming by car.  The sessions are held indoors, in a warm and dry area but with a lovely view to the garden area of the Nest, and on fine days there will be outside activities such as well-being walks for those interested.

Places are limited – so anyone interested can book a place with Tim Shelley on 07972 624378 or by email tim.shelley@haygrove.co.uk
