New video on reducing gas combi boiler flow temperatures to cut costs
Many of you will remember Jo Alsop from her ‘Gas Boiler Driving Lessons’ session a couple of months back.
She explained how reducing the operating temperature of your boiler can cut your gas usage by 10% or even more.
Now Jo, from the Heating Hub www.theheatinghub.co.uk, has produced this great little video to show us how to adjust the temperature on a whole range of boiler types. Click here to Watch and share!
(N.B. For anyone with a hot water tank, this is not currently recommended because of the potential risk of legionella bacteria developing in the tank if the water is stored below 60C – anyone wanting to lower their flow temperature with a tank system ought to get specific advice.)
