Thinking of making your home more energy efficient? Visit beautiful, energy efficient homes near you in Herefordshire this Autumn. Homes are open across the County on the 14th/15th, 21st/22nd and 28th/29th October.
There’s nothing quite like seeing something for yourself – especially when you’re thinking of making your home more energy efficient or installing ‘green’ technologies. Numerous homes across the county are opening their doors this month. Over the first weekend, the 14th & 15th October, you’ll find all sorts of different homes that are energy efficient in different ways;
- Passivhaus new builds in Three Ashes and Vowchurch
- a sustainable new build in Clifford
- a timber framed ‘upside down’ retrofit in Llangrove
- a modern home in Llangrove with green tech additions
- a 1970’s transformation in Hereford
- a former stone agricultural building in Peterchurch retrofitted with sustainable materials
- and a passive house standard retrofit of a 1930’s bungalow in Malvern
