Broken Something? Please Don’t Bin It! Rather Let Us See If We Can Repair It
South Hereford Repair Café will next open its doors at Dinedor Village Hall on Saturday 16th March from 10:00am to 12:30pm. If you have a personal or household item in need of repair please book it in as soon as possible but no later than Thursday 14th March at www.repaircafesouthhereford.org.uk.
At our last two sessions the repairs the friendly volunteers undertook included a CD player, clock, clothes stand, electric drill, floor cleaner, Flymo, food mixer, glazed jug, hedge cutter, oil radiator, power washer, sewing machine, ornamental sheep with broken ear, small table, Tiffany style lamp, vacuum cleaner, vanity mirror, yoghurt maker together with a quilt cover, skirt, suede handbag and pair of trousers, and while that was all going on chisels, kitchen knives, garden shears and secateurs were sharpened and visitors enjoyed refreshments in the café!
