Prof. Craig is Honorary Professor at York University, visiting Professor at Newcastle & St John’s York Universities. He was a founding member of The Wilberforce Institute, Hull, which is now a world leader in the study of modern slavery. He has worked with numerous NGOs & Development Groups on Social Policy, held the first Chair in Social Justice in 2000. His writings cover many aspects of slavery, child labour, people trafficking, refugees & migrants. He believes in UBUNTU – ‘humanity to others’. He worked closely with Bishop Tutu & the Tutu Foundation UK on resolving conflicts & building peaceful communities.
