Springtails – A beginners guide

There is still just time to book for a course on Springtails this Saturday, 17th September 10am to 4pm at HARC
Tutor Pete Boardman
Springtails are fascinating animals that are not even insects. They can be found almost everywhere at abundances of 100,000 per square cubic metre and aid decomposition of organic matter. They can also shrink and bounce! Find out more with a mixture of indoor presentation and field work with one of the countries’ top experts. By the end of the course you will be aware of a variety of different species, springtail ecology, and where to look for them.
