HWT City Branch Talk on The Mowley Project

On Tuesday 3rd October at 7pm HWT City Branch will be hosting a presentation on The Mowley Project, with Catherine Janson, project lead, and Sarah Cadwallader, Tony Norman and David Griffith. This extraordinarily successful habitat restoration project, started less than four years ago, covers approximately 150 acres of woodland and pasture in the Mowley Valley near Staunton on Arrow. The team will outline in detail how they developed, and are continuing, the process of regeneration of woodland and flood plain meadows through sensitive and carefully monitored interventions, resulting in clear and speedy benefits to nature. The venue will be upstairs in De Koffe Pot, Left Bank. Doors open at 6.30 so come early to avail yourselves of the bar and other refreshments if you wish to. There will be a small charge of £3 to cover costs.
