The situation in Timbuktu is dire, and getting no news coverage. So Hay2Timbuktu together with Jump4Timbuktu have organised a fundraising event on Sunday 26th November at The Globe, Hay-on-Wye and will be sending the funds raised to the governor and mayor of Timbuktu so they can buy basic supplies for people who are essentially under siege there, many from outlying villages.
