Shropshire and Telford Community Energy (STCE) are inviting individuals, businesses and organisations across the UK to become shareholder members in an exciting new local community energy scheme.
The share offer will fund the transfer into community ownership of a fully operational 10MW solar farm near Whitchurch, Shropshire which has the capacity to power the equivalent of approximately 3400 homes. They are looking to raise around £730,000 in order to purchase the Twemlows solar farm. The share offer means that individuals, businesses and organisations can invest to support the production of local, green, clean, renewable energy locally. And any profits made will be invested back into local community projects, providing long term benefits for all.
