Hands up to help!

Herefordshire Green Network is essentially a volunteer-run organisation. There are three associates who are paid for the work that they do: Rachel Hickley, the administrator; Clare Cherry, the Great Collaboration Co-ordinator; and Gemma Monk-Hartley, the BUILDING SENSE Co-ordinator; the rest of the team give their time and expertise voluntarily. Many of our member organisations are entirely run by volunteers.
HGN, and our member organisations, could often do with an extra pair of hands for a particular event or job, somewhere across the county.
Might you be willing to go on a list of potential volunteers? Just to say you’d be happy to be asked now and again, and letting us know which area you are in. There would be no obligation to say ‘yes’ if you get a request.
If you’d be willing to get the occasional email asking whether you’d be able to help out, please email Rachel at admin@hgnetwork.org. If you have particular interests or expertise, feel free to mention them.
And if you are interested in becoming more closely involved with HGN, why not consider becoming a member of our Steering Group. This would entail  a maximum of 2-3 hours per week and experience in any of the following areas would be useful: project management, strategic development, fundraising and relationship development, membership organisations and communications.
Thank you!!
