Electric Zipper Buses now running

The city’s fantastic new fleet of electric buses is now servicing a circular route around the city centre, as of Saturday 25 November. Hereford City Council has led this sustainable travel project, designed to make the city more connected and accessible. The FREE service connects the train and bus stations with key shopping areas, the Hospital, The Left Bank, the Leisure Pool, Asda and The Courtyard. The service runs every 15 minutes Monday to Saturday and every 30 minutes on Sundays.

The distinctive green buses are each named after a local heritage variety of apple, pear and hop. With vibrant interiors, there’s free WiFi and phone charging points on each seat.
