RETROFIT ON TV – GUY MARTIN’S ‘HOUSE WITHOUT BILLS’ Finally, a home makeover programme about retrofit! And we understand that Herefordshire’s own Gervase from Waxwing Energy, already famous from our Building Sense webinars, makes a small appearance. It’s a 90-minute one-off programme that follows the retrofit of a ‘normal’ semi into a super-efficient home, and includes lots of advice that can be followed wherever you live. HGN Online Event: Thinking of an electric car this year? This Wednesday January 21st from 1pm – 2pm Electric cars are becoming increasingly popular but if you have not driven one you may want to find out a bit more before you take the plunge. Join this online event to find answers to questions such as: ‘Can I really do a long journey in an EV?’ ‘How can I charge an EV if I haven’t got a driveway where I can park my car?’ Are electric cars really better for the environment?
