Recycling in Ewyas Harold The Ewyas Harold & District For People & Planet group are holding their next recycling morning on Saturday 25th July – 10.00 am until noon in the Doctor’s surgery car park at Ewyas Harold. As in recent times, the items they can take are: tin foil; printer cartridges; biros & felt tip pens; compost bags or similar; black plastic (not PET); & candle wax. All these are items which cannot be recycled in the green bins or which can raise money for charity. There seem to be butterflies everywhere this year, particularly Painted Ladies – although if the lack of rain continues the food plants for caterpillars may wilt and shrivel up which will affect butterfly numbers next year. Get involved in this year’s Big Butterfly Count which starts this Saturday 17th July and help build a national picture of how they are faring,
