HGN’s BUILDING SENSE project has a new ‘ask the experts’ webinar planned on making your house warmer, healthier and cheaper to run, on 8th January from 1pm – 2.30pm. Click here for more details and to book for this free event.
There’s also free hands-on airtightness and insulation training in Shrewsbury in January with Future Ready Homes. This is primarily targeted at builders but would also be suitable for fairly competent and ambitious DIYers.

Warm Homes Grant
Herefordshire Council has received £2.4 million from the government’s Warm Home Local Grant scheme to fully fund energy saving improvements to Herefordshire homes. The fund is intended particularly for those homes that are the least efficient and for households that are the most vulnerable to rising energy costs – and the health implications of living in a home that is hard to heat.
