Rivers, Roots and Resilience – A Day of Climate Action
Following on from the success of last year’s inaugural Day of Action for Herefordshire’s rivers and wetlands, HWT present Rivers, Roots and Resilience – A Day of Climate Action across Herefordshire and the Wye Valley this Saturday 6th September.
Throughout the day, community groups and organisations will be running activities to celebrate wildlife, explore our rivers and landscapes, raise awareness of climate change, and take local action for a more sustainable future. All activities are free to take part in and most are family-friendly.
There will also be free unlimited travel on bus routes 65 and 69 throughout the day – forming a circular journey between Chepstow and Monmouth through the stunning Wye Valley.
A full list of events and activities with details of how to book (where necessary) can be found on the HWT website.
