Yolande and Andrew of Taste of Self Sufficiency are building a one bedroom hempcrete bungalow in Herefordshire. They are both Permaculturists and have used Permaculture Principles and Ethics in their build. They have had volunteers helping them hempcrete their walls and install natural insulation. Most of the volunteers who stepped forward were wanting to get hands-on experience for their own house building projects or to inform their current work/future career.
Next Yolande and Andrew are hosting two Clay Plastering courses with the School of Natural Building on 24th – 28th August (Base Coat) and 7th – 11th September (Top Coat).
