UK nature organisations are warning of the threats to habitat of the Planning and Infrastructure Bill.
Petition against airport expansions
Flight Free UK have just launched a petition, in response to the recent approval of Luton, Gatwick and Heathrow airport expansions.
They are asking Parliament to listen to the advice of the Climate Change Committee and not to expand airports. Airport expansion is bad for people living near to airports because of an increase in noise and air pollution, and will also result in rising emissions, at a time when we should be doing all we can to reduce emissions.

They ask everyone to share this petition as widely as possible. At 10,000 signatures the petition will be sent to the government, and at 100,000 signatures it will be debated in Parliament.
