Growing Local – Summer Celebration Day 30th July
Join HGN Steering Group and other HGN members for a visit to The Southside Farm on Wednesday 30th July at 6.30pm to learn about Growing Local’s exciting new project.
It would be lovely to see you in person – not just as a head, on Zoom!
With members of the Growing Local team you will enjoy
- a walking tour of the farm,
- a chance to meet the growers,
- seeing the veg box growing areas and polytunnels,
- visiting the children’s garden, outdoor kitchen, and
- exploring the goodies in the farm shop.
Growing Local will also share their plans for their future cook studio and indoor classroom, and talk about how the site has developed since autumn 2023.
HGN members and supporters can find out how they can get involved in the community project—whether through volunteering, buying the veg, telling schools about Growing Local or coming along to their community events.
Here’s how to find the site- https://growinglocal.org.uk/how-to-find-us/. If driving please arrive in the car park by 6.15pm and everyone can walk over to the farm together.
Please email louisa@growinglocal.org.uk if you require accessible parking nearby and she can offer an alternative way to access the site.
