Growing Local, one of HGN’s GOLD members, is currently putting together a major 4-year funding bid to the National Lottery ‘Reaching Communities’ fund. This funding will allow them to run the activities that will fill their new Community Cook Studio and indoor classroom (which have just received planning approval) and the farm, addressing health and wellbeing and bringing the community together through food.
They would be extremely grateful for any feedback on their bid – would you use the facility, what else could they be offering, is there local need, what are the barriers to participation, would your organisation like to partner in any way with them? Also your supportive words would be extremely useful to the bid!
