This coming weekend, 29th – 30th August is International Bat Night organised by Eurobat. There are no events locally (maybe some of the local groups will get involved next year?), but the website has plenty of resources.
The HGN webinar on Dark Skies included plenty of information on how to mitigate the effects of artificial lighting on bats with background resources available too.
