Earth Hour

This Saturday, 22nd March at 8.30pm join Earth Hour and switch off your lights for one hour.

Earth Hour is a worldwide movement organised by the World Wildlife Fund. The event is held annually, encouraging individuals as well as landmarks and businesses to switch off non-essential electric lights, for one hour from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m., usually on the last Saturday of March, as a symbol of commitment to the planet. It was started as a lights-off event in Sydney Australia, in 2007. Since 2023 it has expanded and now calls on individuals, communities, and businesses across the globe to switch off their lights and also give an hour for Earth, spending 60 minutes doing something – anything – positive for our planet.
