Herefordshire Wildlife Trust is running the event supported by local volunteers. This community event links with Bartonsham Meadows where there is a new orchard which will start fruiting over the next few years.

Almeley Green Group Juicing Session
The Almeley Green Group will be holding an apple juicing session on Sunday 4th October at the Bells Inn in Almeley village, between 12 noon and 4.00pm. Powered scratters and presses will be mobilised so be prepared to be amazed at how quickly your buckets of apples are transformed into litres of fresh juice. So much more tasty than from the shops!

Big Apple Harvestime
Harvestime is on the second weekend of October in Much Marcle. Here you can marvel at the huge number of apple and pear varieties, help press cider apples and perry pears and visit different venues offering a variety of experiences.

The Archbishop of Canterbury, Dame Sarah Mullaly will be visiting Big Apple on the Sunday.
As part of Big Apple, there will be the Big Apple Cycle Ride on Sunday 11th October. Meet at 10.00am for a 10.30am start in St Katherine’s Car Park, Ledbury.
