CPRE Herefordshire are recruiting volunteers for their local Hedgerow Heroes project which runs until March 2025 and they’d love you to join them! As part of this enthusiastic group, you’ll help plant new hedgerows in North Herefordshire. Volunteering days run from 10am to 2pm on weekends and weekdays. CPRE Herefordshire welcome both individual volunteers and businesses looking to participate through charity days. Don’t worry if you’re not an expert – they’ll have specialists on site to provide all the knowledge you need. Plus, they have facilities and refreshments available. Volunteers must be 18+ years old.

Hedgerows are vital for nature, providing habitats for 1 in 10 of the UK’s vulnerable species, including hazel dormice and hedgehogs. By volunteering, you’ll be making a real difference, creating homes for wildlife and helping protect these wonderful creatures
