March for Clean Water Saturday 26th October

Water is life. Yet here in Britain, it’s on life support.
Every single river in England & Wales is polluted with toxic cocktails of raw sewage, agricultural runoff and chemical pollutants.  And we know our River Wye is amongst the worst affected.
But it’s not over. Britain’s waters have life in them yet, as long as we act now.
Join the March for Clean Water on Saturday 26th October in central London as we march on Westminster to demand change. Turn your outrage into action and call on the new government to stop the poisoning of Britain’s waters.
This huge march will tell the Government that they just have to do better than the Water Bill going through Parliament at the moment.  For instance, there is NO mention of the agricultural pollution that is killing the Wye.  Even those plagued by sewage pollution are exasperated that it doesn’t go far enough.
Save the Wye will be heading our section of the March up with banners, placards, giant puppets, and loads of noise.  We are also organising coaches to and from London for the day – details will be up on our website shortly together with a sign up form.  See www.savethewye.org
Join the march. Wear blue. Flood the streets.
