Volunteer needed to lead a Dawn Chorus Walk
The parish footpath officer in Little Birch just south of Hereford, organises a Dawn Chorus Walk in April each year that usually attracts about 25 people.
A local farmer provides a breakfast on the return from the walk and participants are asked for a donation for the food and a local charity.
Normally a local person leads the walk and shares his knowledge of the birds heard. Unfortunately, he has recently had a knee operation so is unable to lead the walk this year. The footpath officer is looking for someone who could help out: are there any local ornithologists who would be prepared to lead the walk on 6th April starting about 6.00am?
