Banter Sessions

The banter sessions organised by the Great Collaboration team continue weekly on a Wednesday lunchtime covering a range of topics. Click here for a list of past and future sessions. The next session will be on Wednesday 30th September.

TGC works with organisations around the country which work in similar arenas such as Carbon Copy who are hosting a mini-series of online community-to-community workshops, focusing on local collaborations that have made a big impact in addressing different local challenges and opportunities related to climate change.

On 13th October, the workshop focuses on how a whole community can benefit from a district heating scheme, with Swaffham Prior Heat Network, revisiting their progress and sharing their learning with anyone else from other parishes who may be curious/daunted/inspired by this kind of collaborative project and are looking for ways to reduce expensive oil heating (and heating bills in general).

Great Collaboration Banter sessions are free, open to all, and held at noon on Wednesdays. So please do sign up for this session, and feel free to pass this invitation on to anyone that you think could benefit. All sessions are recorded, and the resulting video, presentation, meeting summary and all the ideas, links and suggestions that are always created are published on our Knowledgebase. Members of parish councils, town councils, and community organisations are all typical audiences for these presentations – so do please join us!
