HGN Event: Ready, steady … Starting and running a local environment group

Have you ever thought about the benefits of setting up your own village or local community group but been overwhelmed by the challenges involved? Join our event for help and inspiration.

HGN is holding a series of Starting and Running a Local Environment Group workshops at which participants can hear about how to set up a group and get ideas for inclusive activities that local groups can organise.

The next in the series will be from 2.00pm – 4.00pm on Tuesday April 14th at De Koffie Pot, Hereford. Part of the session will be Dave Faulkner of Green Group Almeley sharing his experience of how to get solar on village halls and similar buildings. However there will be plenty of time to discuss any other challenges that you are facing, and hear about your successes if you are already running a group.

Book your place now via Eventbrite. The event is free to attend – we ask you to book so that we know numbers attending. Let us know if there are any particular topics you would like covered in this session.

Equally valuable to those who have attended previous sessions as well as newcomers, don’t miss out on this opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and make a real difference. See you there!
