Last week’s session was a talk on the “National Education Nature Park”, with Martin Harrison, Senior Programme Officer
The National Education Nature Park is a 5-year programme, launched in October 2023, as part of the Department for Education’s Climate Change and Sustainability Strategy. It’s all about increasing biodiversity in school grounds and children gaining a real connection with nature and having the skills to act on climate change. It’s free for every nursery, primary, secondary school, and college to sign up to in England.
