Nature Action Network Meeting

The Nature Action Network comprises community groups, businesses, schools, parish councils and others who collaborate on positive action for nature in Herefordshire. All welcome! This meeting will include presentations from Wellington Wildlife Group and The River Arrow Trust and an update on the final consultation opportunity for the Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS) update from Esther Clarke, Herefordshire Council.

Young Nature Rangers

If you are 16-25 and want to get stuck into practical conservation tasks, learn something new, deepen your connection to nature and make new friends, then why not join HWT’s monthly Saturday Young Nature Rangers group? They alternate their meetings between Queenswood Country Park near Leominster and Bartonsham Meadows in Hereford.

Work Experience placements with Herefordshire Wildlife Trust

This summer HWT can offer up to six young people a week of work experience from 15th-21st June.

Work experience students will spend the week getting stuck in to practical conservation tasks on their nature reserves, learning about conservation, meeting likeminded young people and spending time in some of Herefordshire’s beautiful natural places. Herefordshire Birds and Habitats

Leominster Branch of the Herefordshire Wildlife Trust is hosting a talk from the Herefordshire Ornithological Club to take place at 7.00 pm 30th January 2026 at the Forbury Chapel, Church St. Leominster. HR6 8NQ. Members of the Wildlife Trust or H.O.C £2, non-members £3.
