There will be a special screening of the film “Rivercide”, a thought-provoking documentary that sheds light on the pollution of the River Wye on Friday 4th October at Pembridge Village Hall. Following the screening, there will be a panel discussion with Chair for the evening Tony Norman, The Leen, and experts Nicola Cutcher, Journalist and Producer of Rivercide and Lucinda Lewis, Farmer and Agricultural Advisor for the Wye and Usk Foundation. This event is a great opportunity to learn, engage, and be part of the conversation about the health of local waterways. All are invited to join this important and eye-opening event.
The panel will be followed by a Q&A session, which will allow attendees to ask questions, share their thoughts, and engage in dialogue with the panellists.
There is a nominal £3 charge for entry and all door proceeds will go to CPRE (Council for Protection of Rural England), who coordinate citizen scientists on the Wye Catchment and WUF (Wye and Usk Foundation), who try to/do solve some of the problems.
