Hereford City Branch of the Herefordshire Wildlife Trust are holding their AGM followed by an talk on Tuesday December 10th.
Rachel Jenkins who has an OBE for services to Mental Health policy and research in the UK and overseas, is the keynote speaker. Her expertise is wide ranging and this evening her talk explores the extent of global climate change, its causes, climate change in Herefordshire over the last 100 years, and its impact on habitats, plants, fungi, trees, invertebrates, amphibia, reptiles, birds, and mammals. The talk concludes with an exploration of the need for land use change, and what that means for Herefordshire.
AGM at 7pm with talk starting prompt at 7.30pm. Agenda and reports will be made available in advance of the meeting. This is a free event but booking advised.
