News from Low Traffic Future

The Low Traffic Future alliance was set up 3 years ago, by Transport Action Network, bringing together groups and individuals with a shared desire to bring about a less car-dependent future, locally and nationally. Their membership includes 30 national organisations, with interests in the environment, health, road safety and sustainable transport.

They sent out an online survey, inviting your views on how Low Traffic Future can best support you in pressing for a low traffic future in your area. They still welcome views from those who haven’t yet found the time!

They would now like to invite you to an online discussion where they will feed back on the findings from the survey and discuss next steps. They are keen not only to boost their support for local sustainable transport campaigners and groups, but to form connections and networks that can strengthen the movement as a whole, both locally and nationally.

That workshop will take place on the evening of Thursday 10th July, from 7.30 to 9.30pmPlease reply to this event invitation link if you would like to join the workshop

The aim of the online discussion on 10th July is partly to feed back to you on what everyone said, then to open up a discussion about what forms of support will be most useful to you, and start building a network of local groups with common interests, through which they can share and spread knowledge and experience.
