Could your business be better prepared for extreme weather?
Five Herefordshire businesses are being offered the opportunity to receive expert support to understand and prepare for the impacts of climate change.
Herefordshire Council’s new Business Climate Adaptation Programme will provide five independent, non-agricultural businesses with up to 50 employees, with a climate adaptation audit and a personalised Action Plan.
The plan, produced by climate change specialists Sustainability West Midlands, will identify the key steps each business could take to become more resilient to risks including flooding, extreme heat, storms and water scarcity.
The support could help businesses reduce disruption, protect income and improve the resilience of their buildings, operations and workforce.
Who can apply?
Independent, non-agricultural businesses with up to 50 employees that are based in Herefordshire. You don’t need to have already taken action on climate adaptation to apply.
Applications close: 5pm on Thursday 24 September 2026
