HWCC Sustainability Forum

Hereford and Worcester Chamber of Commerce Sustainability Forum in association with the Business Energy Efficiency Programme (BEEP) organises a series of free workshops aimed at encouraging businesses across the region to reduce the environmental impacts of their business operations through energy and resource efficiency improvements, as well as wider sustainability good practice. The first face-to-face Sustainability Forum since before the pandemic will be at the new NMITE Centre for Advanced Timber Technology on Wednesday 3rd May from 8.30am – 11.30am.
Attendees will hear from NMITE’s Gary Wood and Tabitha Binding on the extent of impact the building makes on students and the local community, as well as their fantastic sustainability efforts.

David Williams, Principal of Hereford, Ludlow and Shropshire College will be talking on New Training Facility at Holme Lacy. David will explain about the new Herefordshire Low Carbon Technology Centre and how it will provide dedicated training designed to up-skill both the existing workforce and future generations of low-carbon and retrofit installers.
