Climate Emergency UK is the organisation behind the Council Climate Action Scorecards, an assessment of climate action taken by local governments across the UK. They are hosting an event relevant to campaigning work by councils. This event is part of a series of three workshops funded by The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. A new award is being launched for young people who are passionate about nature. Managed for the Howard Bulmer Charitable Trust by Herefordshire Wildlife Trust, the two significant awards offered this year will help young people improve or publicise any green space that the public can access. With the support of experts and up to £10,000, successful applicants will have the opportunity to turn their idea into a project in or about a particular green space that improves Herefordshire for nature and young people.
