Funding available for Herefordshire Businesses

Businesses across Herefordshire should apply now to a £630,000 funding pot to help them grow and boost their productivity – before it’s too late. Capital grants of up to £35,000 are available to help businesses invest in new equipment, processes or technology to help them grow and reduce their carbon footprint through the UKSPF Business Enterprise Fund. YES Energy Solutions are currently working with Herefordshire Council on the Keep Herefordshire Warm project. The team offer a free advice line where residents can get tailored advice on making their homes more energy efficient and ways to lower their energy bills. Although we may be going into warmer months, they are encouraging households to get advice now to feel the benefit in Winter. The cost of living remains high, and many households are struggling with their energy bills as standing charges rise and energy debt reaches a record figure of £3.1 billion. Localgiving, the online fundraising platform for charities and groups, have a focus on delivering for Community Interest Companies (CICs) bringing them benefits and that are usually only available to larger charities. If you are a CIC or other small community organisation, then contact Localgiving to learn how they can supercharge your fundraising. Home Energy Savers Webinar — new from Herefordshire Council Tuesday 19th March 12:45pm Click here to find out more and book on Eventbrite A brand new scheme to fund home energy assessments and to fund recommended retrofit works! The Home Energy Savers initiative is for households that want to make energy improvements to their homes but whose income means they don’t qualify for support from the national Home Upgrade Grant or some other incentives. It’s open to those with a household income over £36,000 per annum, and/or with disposable income available to spend on measures for their homes.
