Zero Hour is the campaign for the Climate and Nature Bill, formerly the CE Bill and CEE Bill, a plan for a new UK law that addresses climate change, global warming, and the nature crisis in line with the most up-to-date science. The Bill is the only proposed legislation before the UK Parliament that ensures a comprehensive and joined-up approach to the emergency. The Zero Hour campaign is urging everyone to ask their election candidates to back the bill. The Ledbury Celebration on Sunday 7th July celebrates the local food and drink of Herefordshire and its neighbouring counties with an added menu of music, poetry and our historic heritage. The Great Collaboration website with its toolkit of actions, transferred from the Herefordshire Green Network last summer to the Place Based Initiative. PBI have been doing some great work, with weekly online discussions and more, and they are due to launch a Great Collaboration newsletter from July. PBI will also be picking up the Great Collaboration social media, too. Meanwhile the Great Collaboration Herefordshire team is stepping back for a while. Co-ordinator Clare Cherry, who has done a magnificent ‘temporary’ (!) job that’s lasted nearly 2 years, is stepping down. At this stage, HGN has no funding to continue
Rod Howell, who set up the Repair Café in Worcester in 2016, is now looking at setting up a Repair Café in Hereford, and he is looking for like minded organisations and individuals who would like to help get it started.
