Two recent polls suggest that the constituency may be about to elect its first Green Party MP. One constituency-level poll, conducted by Omnisis, and another by IPSOS, put Green candidate Ellie Chowns in first place. Another two, by Survation and YouGov, have the Green Party in second place. Now, HGN – in spite of its name – has no party allegiances. The Ledbury Celebration on Sunday 7th July celebrates the local food and drink of Herefordshire and its neighbouring counties with an added menu of music, poetry and our historic heritage. Leigh Day is a firm of solicitors representing some members of the Hereford community in relation to the pollution of the River Wye. The Community Green Spaces Fund will provide up to £7m of funding to support communities to create, restore and enhance their green spaces. Grants of up to £75,000 will be provided to help communities plant fruits, vegetables, and trees, creating orchards and natural play areas for all to access and enjoy.
