Transition Leominster Annual General Meeting is on 27 September, at 5.15pm Nori’s Café, West Street, Leominster All are welcome and the organisers would love for as many of you to join as possible! Over the last few years- despite COVID – Transition Leominster has supported a number of great initiatives which include: Car Shares scheme Repair Café Annual Seed Swap Zero Waste vegan cafe (Plantastik) As well, they have supported our regular groups and partners at the Leominster Apple Fair and Leominster in Bloom Plant sales. In the coming year they would love to add these achievements – as part of the worldwide Transition
The Ramblers Path Accessibility Fund was established in 2021 and is dedicated to making sure the UK path network is accessible to everyone. By removing barriers like overgrown paths, stiles and steps, the fund aims to enable more people with reduced mobility to enjoy the outdoors. The good news is that the fund is now open for applications! You can learn more, read about some of the projects and find out how to apply, on the Ramblers website.

The National Education Nature Park is a new scheme that empowers young people to make a positive difference to both their own and nature‘s future, through creating a network of green spaces across the country. By turning grey spaces green, young people are boosting biodiversity, connecting to nature, and developing vital green and digital skills for their futures. The next activity in this year’s Millenium Orchard diary is the summer pruning on 20th July. Planning Since the Blessing the Bees event Tomas and Russell have been meeting to talk about the future maintenance and evolving the design of the orchard and the millennium green. Tomas has an outline plan that can be used for fundraising and getting more people involved.
