Grant Funding Available

Small Sparks Grant Small Sparks, delivered in partnership with Herefordshire Community Foundation, has £50,000 to distribute to support informal, grassroots initiatives. Grants of up to £1,000 are available to fund small scale projects that bring people together, build local connections, and strengthen community resilience. Example activities could include creating a community garden, or shared space, running a neighbourhood event or starting a local club. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis until 30th November 2025, or until the fund is fully allocated. Early submission is strongly encouraged. Petition against airport expansion

Flight Free UK set up a petition earlier this year in response to the recent approval of Luton, Gatwick and Heathrow airport expansions. They are asking Parliament to listen to the advice of the Climate Change Committee and not to expand airports. Airport expansion is bad for people living near to airports because of an increase in noise and air pollution, and will also result in rising emissions, at a time when everyone should be doing all they can to reduce emissions. News from the Daffodil Line

The Daffodil Line team have been working hard behind the scenes and  are delighted to announce that from 11th August the timetable is going hourly!!! The new timetable will be made available through the Daffodil Line socials and website, and printed copies distributed.
