The Great Collaboration runs weekly lunchtime online sessions. These are friendly, cooperative forums that provide tips and suggestions to help individuals and groups understand and contribute to local actions aiming to reach Net Zero. There is plenty of lively discussion too! Nominally lasting for 60 minutes, over-runs are quite common. Their weekly Banter sessions are light-hearted, humorous, co-operative and thought-provoking, intended to demonstrate all the advantages of collaboration. In September 2023 HGN transferred the web-based toolkit over to a new organisation, Place-based Initiatives Ltd (PBI) to expand the provision across the UK. Herefordshire Green Network’s programme will now concentrate on activities in this county and be known as Great Collaboration Herefordshire. Zero Hour is the campaign for the Climate and Nature Bill, formerly the CE Bill and CEE Bill, a plan for a new UK law that addresses climate change, global warming, and the nature crisis in line with the most up-to-date science. The Bill is the only proposed legislation before the UK Parliament that ensures a comprehensive and joined-up approach to the emergency. The Zero Hour campaign is urging everyone to ask their election candidates to back the bill.
