HGN Event: Ready, steady … Starting and running a local environment group

Have you ever thought about the benefits of setting up your own village or local community group but been overwhelmed by the challenges involved? Join our event for help and inspiration. HGN is holding a series of Starting and Running a Local Environment Group workshops at which participants can hear about how to set up a group and get ideas for inclusive activities that local groups can organise. Want to start a local environment group but not sure where to start? Full of ideas but unsure of the practicalities? Here’s how to turn your dreams from blue sky to green shoots. There was lots of enthusiasm and sharing of ideas at the first Starting and Running a Local Environment Group workshop run by HGN in October with plenty of practical advice offered by those who have already got a group up and running.
