On May 15th 1.00pm – 3.00pm, as part of the Herefordshire Histories Festival, Hereford Quakers, a group who are GOLD members of HGN, are planning the following event: Shared Conversations – Uniting Diverse Views and Reducing Polarisation. The theme this year is Investing in Military Defence. They are inviting a wide range of individuals and/or charities to make a 2-minute contribution of their views on Investing in Military Defence, followed by small group discussions on this topic for the remainder of the event which will be held at the Friends Meeting House, King Street, Hereford. HOPE! is coming to a screen very near Herefordshire this Saturday 24th January, The International Day of Education, at the retrofitted Old School in Talgarth, the new teaching facility for Black Mountains College, that reopens its doors on that day. Filmed in 17 countries and four continents, this film showcases across six episodes how communities, innovators and institutions all around the world are already building a more sustainable future. This will be a screening of the second episode, where Rob Hopkins guides viewers through the solutions, and there will be a Q&A session to discuss the topics of most relevance,
